Good thought, however, the idea that our federal government should be solving these problems at all should be discussed. What would be the alternative? Can we really afford the federal government getting involved? For the federal government to solve problems, ie spend money, it first must take it from someone else…..

Where can I get a t-shirt and car sticker of the 3-headed American Eagle? I’ve read the 5000 year leap and I LOVED learning about the 3-headed American Eagle. Ashame I don’t recall learning about this in school. I want to sport a shirt! Please let me know if there is a place where I could purchase it.

Oh it’s even worse. Congress removed the debt ceiling for Fannie and Freddie. Essentially they were given a blank check (and we’re paying for it)

Many don’t realize just how important George Washington was a a founder. Some even try to degrade him and say he wasn’t a Christian. His own words prove he most definitely was.

He also said that they wouldn’t touch Medicare…but if they take $500m out because they think insurers are reaping profits from Medicare Advantage you can bet that the 15m seniors in these plans will see them disappear from the market — just as Medicare Plus Choice disappeared in the 1990s when Congress reduced that funding. UPDATE, 9/07/09: Obama announced his appointment of Ron Bloom as “senior counselor for manufacturing policy,” a move that will eliminate Senate oversight. This position has been dubbed “manufacturing czar” and so this listing moves to a different alphabetical location….
